Our Mission
To love others by sharing the hope of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him through our church and school, and by equipping the body of believers through worship, Christian education, and community.
Worship
At Cornerstone, we believe in corporate worship, where we gather to express our obedience to the command to love God. We believe that worship is joyful and reverent, and is both formal and informal. At our Sunday service, we worship God through a blend of contemporary songs and traditional hymns, which accompanies biblical preaching and a time of sharing and prayer. Currently, we have services in Cantonese, English, and for children.
Christian Education
At Cornerstone, we believe in having a transformative infusion of all that is learned from scripture into every aspect of our lives. We provide a safe space to ask questions, learn about the triune God, and be equipped in the understanding of the Biblical worldview. We offer Christian Studies, which facilitates study and training modules for adults and teens throughout the year, and Vacation Bible School for children in the summer. We also operate Cornerstone Christian Academy, an accredited, independent school for students in preschool to grade 7.
Community
We believe community is based on the saving grace found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This gospel motivates us to love, serve, and walk with one another through the different seasons in our lives. At Cornerstone, we find community when we build personal relationships with each other, share life and have fun together in our fellowship groups, and celebrate together during church-wide special events.
